Sven Wuerttemberger is the Chief Executive Officer of DWS CH AG and Head of Client Coverage Switzerland and Israel. He is also acting Switzerland Country Officer and a member of the Executive Board at DWS CH AG. Leading a team of over 40 employees, he is responsible for organization’s strategy, operations, corporate governance and portfolio management alongside the executive team and oversees the distribution of active and passive funds, mandates, and alternative investment solutions to institutional and wholesale investors.
Prior to joining DWS, Sven held various roles at Black Rock Asset Management from 2009 to 2017, where he was responsible for the distribution of iShares ETFs across Germany and Switzerland. 2006 to 2009, he contributed to DWS’s development of structured product solutions for institutional clients and, before that, worked with an international management consultancy.
Sven holds an MBA in International Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics and the University of St. Gallen, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bristol Business School in the UK.
